We have various makes of flat trailers on fleet and the majority are equipped with strengthened headboard’s and also post’s and sockets for added safety when carrying various types of cargo especially steel.

This type of load security is becoming more important with the new VOSA load securing regulations.

If a vehicle is found to be in breach of the load restraint rules, VOSA have the power to prohibit continued use of the vehicle if they believe it represents a danger to other road users.

It is, however, VOSA's stated intention that minor problems in the way vehicles have been loaded and secured will be dealt with through advice rather than enforcement action wherever possible.
